The Hierophant Bridge Makers Tea
The Hierophant reminds me that there is more than one perspective to any situation. What feels like spirituality to one, might feel like something else to another. You don’t have to be seated in a church to sense a higher power.
This morning’s tea was inspired by The Hierophant. He is the symbol of traditional and structure. He represents all the best parts of spirituality and higher power. He would need a grounding blend to keep him here on Earth. He would need a simple blend with structure.
The Recipe
I blend similar to the way I bake. A little of this, a dash of that, and always measuring the best ingredients with your heart. I often carry the carefreeness of the Fool around my kitchen with me. Generally, I try to have around 2 teaspoons of herbs for each cup of water. You can mix and match the amounts of herbs depending on what you are wanting to call in to your day. Remember that spirituality is what you make of it.
Nettle to ward of harm and aid in protection. Also known to ward off bad energy.
Red Raspberry Leaf for womb support.
Lemon Balm for joy!
Spearmint for healing and mental clarity.
Steep for about 10 minutes in very hot/almost boiling water. Be sure it’s covered to keep the good stuff in. Add a little honey for sweetness if you wish.
(Ex: 1 tsp Nettle, 1/2 tsp Red Raspberry Leaf, 1 tsp Lemon Balm, and 1/2 tsp Spearmint)
Steep for 10 minutes and enjoy.
Stand steady in all you have built. Structure will become your sanctuary.
XOXO,
Maykayla
